Call a person
Start a private voice call with one person.
What it is
A call is a private conversation where you both talk freely, like a phone call.
When to use it
Use it when a quick back-and-forth beats taking turns in a room.
How to do it

On the People tab, tap the person, then tap Call and their name. You can also tap the call button at the top of a direct message.

You’ll see Calling… until they answer.

On the watch, swipe up, tap Call someone, and pick a person.
