Talk with the watch crown
Turn the crown to talk, even with the screen off.
What it is
On watches with a crown (the dial on the side), turn it clockwise to start talking and turn it back to stop. No need to look at the screen.
When to use it
Use it when your hands are full or your phone is in your pocket.
How to do it

On your phone, go to You. Under Watch, turn on Twist the crown to talk.

On the watch, you can check it too: swipe up for the controls and look for Crown talk (“Turn to start, back to stop”).

For screen-off talking, open the watch’s Settings › Accessibility and turn on KeyUp crown talk. This lets the crown work even when the screen is dark. It only responds to the crown when the screen is off, or when KeyUp or your watch face is showing.

Now turn the crown clockwise. You’re on air. Turn it back to stop.
