Photos, voice notes and dictation
Send a photo, record a voice note, or speak a message instead of typing.
What it is
Besides text, you can send photos and voice notes, or dictate a message.
When to use it
Use a photo to show a problem, a voice note when typing is slow, and dictation when you want text without typing.
How to do it

In a conversation, tap the + button (Add photo or dictate). Choose Photo or Dictate.

Voice note: press and hold the mic button, talk, and let go to send. Slide left to cancel.

On the watch: open a chat and tap Speak a reply to send text, or record a voice note and tap Stop and send.
