Add a friend

Add someone with their username, their friend code, or a picture of their QR code.

What it is

Friends can message and call each other any time, even if you are not in the same Space.

When to use it

Use it for people you talk to outside your team, like a friend or a family member on another crew.

How to do it

  1. Open the People tab and tap Add a friend at the top.

    Add a friend is at the top of People.

  2. Type their username or their friend code (it looks like KU-7H3M-Q9TX). If they sent you a message with their code, tap Paste.

    Type a username or code.

  3. Have a screenshot of their QR code? Tap Code from photo and pick the picture. KeyUp reads the code for you.

  4. Tap Send friend request. You see Request sent. When they accept, they show up in your Friends list.
