Stay after a guest pass (guest to member)

On a guest pass? Create a free account and ask the Space to keep you.

What it is

A guest can ask to stay. The Space owner or an admin gets a question: Keep your name in Space? If they tap Keep, you become a member of the same rooms you had as a guest, on your own account.

When to use it

Use it before your guest pass ends, if you want to keep using the Space.

How to do it

  1. On the Talk tab (or the You tab), find Want to stay? and tap Create a free account.

  2. Pick New account and fill in your name, a username and a password. Or pick I have an account and sign in. Then tap the button to ask to stay.

  3. The card now says Asked to stay. Your guest pass keeps working while you wait.

  4. For the Space owner or admin: you get a notification, Keep name in Space? On the People tab, under Asking to stay, tap Keep or No thanks.

  5. If they tap Keep, you get You’re in for good. If you signed in to an existing account, tap Switch to your username to move this phone to your account.
