Guest passes and members

Links are guest passes. Friends and usernames are how people stay for good.

What it is

There are two ways into your Space. A guest pass is a link or QR code that lets someone in for a while (1 hour up to 1 week) with just their name. A member has an account, stays until you remove them, and joins through an invitation inside the app.

When to use it

Send a guest pass to drivers, temps and visitors. Invite a friend (or add someone by username) for your regular crew or family.

How to do it

  1. Guest pass (link or QR): no account needed. You pick how long it lasts: 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day or 1 week. Access ends when the pass does.

  2. Member: tap Invite next to a friend and choose Just #room or The whole Space. See Invite a friend to stay. Space admins can also add someone by username.

  3. Guest who wants to stay: they create a free account and ask. The Space owner and admins get Keep name in Space? and tap Keep or No thanks. See Stay after a guest pass.
