Create a guest pass (link or QR)

Make a link and QR code that lets someone in for a while.

What it is

A guest pass is a link and a QR code. You choose the room, how long it lasts and how many people can use it. Anyone with it joins as a guest with just their name. Want someone to stay? See Invite a friend to stay.

When to use it

Use it for visitors, temps and anyone who only needs KeyUp for a while.

How to do it

  1. On the People tab, tap Invite people. Or, inside a room, tap the invite button at the top.

  2. Pick the Room at the top, then scroll to Or share a guest pass.

  3. Pick how long the Pass lasts: 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day or 1 week. Under Link works for, choose One person or Up to 25.

  4. Want more control? Tap Advanced options to pick Rooms they can use and what they can do, like Send messages and See history. You can also add a Note for yourself, like “Saturday crew”.

  5. Tap Create guest pass. You’ll see Guest pass ready with a QR code and the link.
